Bolton has a way with words

“Tehran’s efforts to intimidate the United States and Israel from using military force against its nuclear program…” is the astonishing way in which John R. Bolton, the former American ambassador to the United Nations and neocon extremist non-pareil, describes the gathering war clouds in the Middle East in an op-ed in today’s Wall Street Journal.

So when the U.S. and Israel threaten force against Iran, that’s not intimidation but Iran’s effort to prepare for that use of force is! Nice.

Sorry Srinivasan Ji. It’s my mistake, i have miss understood your comment. Meanwhile, my point is that PM, being a head of Govt ( either Coalisation or one party) is responsible authority in all international dealings. I don’t see any wrong in his statement. It shows our good-relation with US.

Som,“..standing shoulder-to-shoulder and head-to-head with the United States” was a statement uncalled for. MK Bhadrakumar explains why: http://www.hindu.com/2008/07/16/stories/2008071655301000.htmIt is not just a matter of Bolton being a junior neocon..and Bush “being India’s best friend” as Manmohan Singh unabashedly quotes. Before getting disappointed, please do some reading. Btw, Manmohan Singh’s government is a coalition government, and not something that he owns.

Ohh. It’s really disappointing to read Srinivasan’s comment on our beloved PM Manmohan Singh. Bolton is just a subordinate of Bush and our PM is head of a soveriegn state. He is heading a popular Government and has right to frame foreign policies for the benefits of our nation.

And to see that this is the kind of guy who was Bush’s chief yes-man in the United Nations (of all organisations!) and that this is the kind of people who rule America today and that this is the kind of people that Manmohan Singh wants to stand “shoulder-to-shoulder”/ “head-to-head” with; is well, SCARY! What kind of a man is Manmohan Singh?
